Classes & Digital Content Policy

6.1 Class Types

• In-person classes held at [LOCATION] or another announced location.

• Live online classes delivered through [ZOOM / OTHER PLATFORM].

• On-demand classes and digital materials available through your account.

6.2 Registration and Payment

Registration is confirmed once payment is completed. Class sizes may be limited, and seats are reserved first come, first served. Class descriptions list what is included, such as materials, mannequins or models, and supply lists.

6.3 Cancellations and Transfers

Live online classes follow the same rules unless the class listing states otherwise.

6.4 On-Demand and Digital Content

• Access is for [12 months] from purchase unless the listing states otherwise.

• Once digital content, streaming, or downloads have been accessed, purchases are final except where required by law or if the content is defective and we cannot fix it.

• Access is for one person. Account sharing is not permitted and may result in loss of access without refund.

6.5 Technical Requirements

Online participants are responsible for a reliable internet connection and compatible device. If a technical problem on our end prevents a live class, we will provide a recording or a transfer to another session.

6.6 Hands-On Classes and Models

• If a class uses live models, models must complete the Client Intake & Service Consent Form. Models under 18 require parent or guardian consent and presence.

• Students are responsible for working safely, following instructor directions, and respecting model comfort and consent.

• Instructors may pause or stop any practice that creates a safety concern.

6.7 Conduct

We keep classes welcoming and respectful. We may remove any participant who is disruptive, harassing, or unsafe, without refund.

6.8 Recording and Class Materials

• Students may not record in-person or live classes without written permission.

• My Peoples House may record live sessions for educational replay. Your name or camera image may appear if you participate on camera; you may keep your camera off.

• Class materials are for the registered participant's personal use and may not be copied, resold, uploaded, distributed, or used to create competing courses without written permission.

6.9 Certificates and Licensing

Any certificate of completion reflects attendance only. It is not a license, government credential, or authorization to perform services. Participants are responsible for understanding California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology rules and any other requirements that apply to their work.

6.10 Results

Classes provide education, not guaranteed results or business outcomes. See Section 11.
